It was Me
Always at the shore.


It was joy, came high, came fast,
Bathe me, almost drowned,.
When, was it about to take my breath away,
It waved my feet, last of its touch.


It was grief, came creeping, came slow,
Anchored me, almost sucked,
When, was it about to engrave,
Left me, with just the effort to re-surface.


It was friend, came whirling, came dashing,
Splashed me, Coloured me.
When, was it about to tickle a smile,
Left me, standing in embrace.


It was a enemy, came whirling, came dashing
Splashed me, Coloured me
Left me, standing in realization..

It tickled a smile.

My book

To my Soul-mate I replied.

"What more could I say,

My life is but now an open book. 

What more could i say to You,

I didn't matter for You have not inscribed,

Be compassionate to not write with a thorn, I beg".

Japan !

10 things to learn from Japan-

1. THE CALM Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.

2. THE DIGNITY-----Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.

3. THE ABILITY The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn’t fall.

4. THE GRACE-----People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.

5. THE ORDER-----No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.

6. THE SACRIFICE----Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid?

7. THE TENDERNESS------Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak.

8. THE TRAINING----The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.

9. THE MEDIA----They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.

10. THE CONSCIENCE---When the power went off in a store,people put things back on the shelves & left quietly.

Can you imagine what would have happened, if anything on the smaller likes of what is happening in Japan, happened in India ! 

What is perfection ?

It is mentioned in Sri Hari-bhakti-sudhodaya (13.2):

aksnoh phalam tvadrsa-darsanam hi
tanoh phalam tvadrsa-gatra-sangah
jihva-phalam tvadrsa-kirtanam hi
sudurlabha bhagavata hi loke

Devotees of Bhagavan are extremely rare in this world. Therefore the perfection of the eyes is to see them, the perfection of the body is to touch them and the perfection of the tongue is to glorify them.

बचपन

हम तोह बचपन मे भी अकेले थे ...दिल की गलियों मे खेलते थे
एक को सम्भाल्नेके वांधे .....साला सब को कैसे संभाले !!!

खेलते थे हम सारी गलियों मे.....हर कोई था हमारा  दोस्त
लेकिन कोई देख न पाया !!

हम तो बचपन मे भी अकेले थे .....दिल की गलियों मे खेलते थे !
