Having come back from meeting the person who loves you the most does not guarantee a sound sleep. Thoughts of anger, discontent, hatred, revenge occupy the mind of a heart over burdened with social obligations. The troubled mind tries to take solace in the mechanical joys of the numerous apps android phones provides these days; fails. He tries to intensely make false love with the object of false promises;fails.

Love is to give
I read a article recently by His Holiness Radhanath Swami. An excerpt from the same I have copied below.
Love is not to want peace but service. To want service is a selfless motivation. Our nature is to love and serve eternally. The need of the soul is love not peace. Peace is a neutral state where there are no problems. It is not positive. Just like when two countries are fighting and they want peace. Peace means they are just not fighting anymore. But the soul is dynamic and part of God. The soul’s nature is to love. So when they say om shanti shanti shanti they want peace but a devotee understands the real peace is love. That is dynamic.
So people who want peace are those who strive for mukti (liberation), and according to Srimad Bhagavatam’s philosophy the desire for mukti is still a selfish desire because you are still thinking in terms of your own happiness and liberation. But the pure nature of the soul is to think what will satisfy God – that is devotional service.

Mohammad
The name Mohammad, means praiseworthy and it occurs four times in Quran. No ! I am not going to write about the Original Mohammad, nor is this a spiritual saga. Its about a 27 year old guy Mohammad, one of my patient.
When I saw him for the first time, he was a body lying on the patient bed, electrodes attached to his chest, index finger occupied by the pulse oxymeter, hands and legs tied to the bed to help him stay there. The monitor where the leads were pinned in showed a normal running heart, lungs and pulse. But, if at all the leads were attached to his brain, the interpretation would have been worse. He was a living body without any response to external stimuli of any kind.
I went to his bedside to evaluate him for the first time. His history revealed the cause for this disdain, a train accident. Luckily for him there were no external wounds except a few bruises. But internally the brain functioning was heavily compromised. CT scan revealed diffuse axonal injury. Well we can't do much about this case, the human body takes its own courses in healing and only the supportive management to keep him alive is taken care of. But his case was complicated by infection which wasn't settling and he was running fever spikes frequently.
There was no one at his bed side the whole time I spent examining him and going through his file. I felt, he would die in a matter of weeks and people might have already started ignoring him. I didn't know, what I was about to witness in the coming days was going to totally shake my preconceived notions.
Soon after, I was about to take my seat and a young girl came in at his bed side. After making herself comfortable she started calling out his name and tried to pat him up as if waking him up from sleep in the morning. She was soon given company by an elderly lady in her mid 40s with a book and white beads in her hand. After conversing with the girl for a short while she started praying from the book. This was her routine for days and weeks to come. To stand silently by Mohammad's bed side and pray. Most importantly she never skipped the 5 important prayer timings for Muslims.
Few weeks passed by, I was now posted in the general wards and there I saw two people supporting a young fellow while walking. They were walking away from me, but I could guess that the Mohammad has now gained consciousness and is walking. I went upto him, and asked him how was he. Though he was not yet clear in his pronunciations, but to understand what I am speaking and to reply appropriately was a positive change from the position he was in.
When I reflect upon this my heart just says - Prayers made him walk and talk again

Crush
When you love someone and they don't love you back, it leaves you broken hearted and hurts so much. I guess that's why they call it a crush.
But, crushes are not painful. We have so many crushes, be it Film actresses, our school teachers or the next door girl.
It's only when the crush starts talking to you and you start to care about the crush, does feelings fill the heart. But No, it may yet not give you a heart ache yet .
It's when you presume that your crush is in love with you and if that is no that case. We are headed towards a heart ache. It gives you a pain of separation once the crush goes away without reciprocating to your level of emotional indulgence in the relationship.
So, we better not presume anything about love on the mundane platform.
No one here is a perfect reciprocator !

Well, more of drama in the movie. But its true love and concern by the wife for her husband John Nash which enables him to go past the illusions and believe in what's real.

A Common Principle
Happy ramadan to all !
Both Ramadan & Shravan (holy month for hindus) starts around same time. My logic tells me, it's something special about the time, which is holy. We are all following a common law of nature. Giving it a different name and creating all the misunderstanding.
I have another analogy to share with the readers.
All the religion chants GODs names, on rosary, tulasi, rudraksh or the tasbi. The principle is the sound vibration. Again a Common law of nature. Even from the biological perspective, laws of nature are common. We are all entitled for a similar course for a particular disease.
Bringing my these few examples to a conclusive end.
If the laws of Nature are so much in common, how can THE CREATOR be different for each religion ?
Everything is coming from a single source.
There is just one GOD.

Ever loved someone that much ?
This is a dialogue from the movie Good Will Hunting. Pretty hard to ones who are afraid to love people.
You don't know about real loss, because that only occurs when you love something more than you love yourself. I doubt you've ever dared to love anybody that much.
The want for being loved totally takes over the cautious unconscious behaviour of a person who is afraid to lose a loved one. This unconscious nature unfortunately, has been developed as a result of ones past experiences of ones love being betrayed by dear ones around us, whom we trust more than anything else in life. And this is what happens when people who have fallen for someone suddenly behaves strangely.
Their unconscious caution mode has be switched on. It is as if the child inside is reminding the heart how so and so left you alone when you were scared. How the hands had beaten you when you expect those hands to pamper you.
Life for such a heart is such a painful experience.
And I pray to God that such a heart gets someone who amends the unconscious arena, heal the wounds of the past and let the heart love without caution.

Third Party
How often does a third person destroy the feelings of love sowed in your heart ?
I interrogate myself with the same question and hence I put forward to you to ponder upon.
I am facing a situation like this !
My appreciation for a person has drastically deteriorated all because of the rage created by a nut-head third party (TP). It was the anger for the TP which I feel over shadowed the rays of love percolating my emotional sustenance for the whole humanity. I got angry with everyone I came across and my mental capabilities were kept busy with ideas of revenge and humiliation for the TP. All my attempts to humiliate it in whichever way possible were falling on deaf ears worsening my helplessness. IT had created a good persona in the public portfolio or at least with the reserves and all my attempts seems like making me a evil minded persona.
With the movements of my fingers on the keyboard I am trying one more time to subdue the anger and bring the intensity of LOVE back in chambers of my heart.

Just decide it !
I would like to bring to your notice that you can fall in love with anyone, it just depends on how pure your conscience is.
Dwell deep into this thought. Take a while, let this thought sink into your thinking lanes.

Let me give you an example. Consider a rich man. He can give his money to anyone he decides to pass his richness to. He has to decide. Well that's it. Loving is so simple a transaction. (thought it is much more than just a material transaction)
We just have to decide. That we will LOVE.
And not hate.
So decide that you will LOVE the person you hate. If the person is causing harm to you. We can give a loving reply :)

Pursuit of Higher Happiness
I read an amazing story which i am sharing with all. I don't know how much one can relate to the story as i do.
But as far as i see for myself, i see Pursuit of higher truth and happiness and more importantly Humility.
I will give you readers a little background to the story. Amrit Gopal, the person concerned in the story is a devotee of Krishna who just loves dancing in front of his Lord and weeps in humility.
This much background, is enough to keep the suspense, a suspense. :)
